Parker Kuncl
Born in Chicago (1980) but raised in Baltimore and DC, Parker has worked and studied in a variety of places. After a year of scientific and analytical thinking in the geological oceanography program at University of Rhode Island, he transitioned to Visual Communication Design at Stevenson University in Maryland. He went on to pursue an MFA in the Media Design Program at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA.

He has worked as an art director and graphic designer for design and advertising firms, including his own, Pdot Republic, since 2001 and a professional freelance photographer since 1998. Currently his passions lie in productive interaction and experience design with attention to interactive objects and spaces, and taking interaction off the screen and into physically tangible transparent technology, archives, and future technology. After that, climbing, summits, backpacking and playing with his husky are all that is on his mind.

Currently, Parker is the creative lead for Bobsled™ at T-Mobile in Seattle, WA. With current nicknames as "Eye Candy" and "Wizard of Oz", each day Parker invents, designs and prototypes the next big thing through rapid hardware sketches—tangible interactive models that communicate the idea quickly, cheaply and efficiently.

This professional designs brands, experiences, installations, products, interfaces, typefaces, identities, logotypes, websites, emails and the occasional printed piece.
